SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 20 (SeeNews) – Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said on Wednesday it plans to launch a new route from Sofia to Malaga, in southern Spain, on March 27, 2018.
The new route will be operated two times per week, on Tuesday and Saturday, Wizz Air said in a statement.
This will be Wizz Air’s 34th route from Sofia Airport.
Wizz Air also operates eight routes from Varna Airport and four from Burgas Airport, both located on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast.
During the first eight months of 2017, Wizz Air carried 1.6 million passengers to and from Bulgaria, 40% more compared to the same period of last year.
