April 24 (SeeNews) - Serbian road construction company Srbijaput [BEL:SRPU] said its net profit fell to 441,000 dinars ($4,030/3,760 euro) in 2023 from 831,000 dinars in 2022.
Operating revenue went down to 2.198 billion dinars last year from 2.614 billion dinars in 2022, whereas operating expenses declined to 2.200 billion dinars from 2.612 billion dinars, Srbijaput said in a filing with the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The company thus turned to an operating loss of 2.7 million dinars in 2023 from an operating profit of 1.9 million dinars in the prior year. Its financial profit, however, doubled to 1.8 million dinars from 915,000 dinars in the period under review.
Total revenue fell to 2.203 billion dinars in 2023 from 2.615 billion dinars in 2022, while at the same time total costs decreased to 2.202 billion dinars from 2.614 billion dinars.
Srbijaput's capital is composed of 99,056 shares with a nominal price of 220 dinars each. Its shares last traded on April 11, closing flat at 220 dinars.
The largest shareholders in Srbijaput are local businessmen Velimir Skocajic and Bozica Popovic with stakes of 23% and 19%, respectively, followed by the Serbian unit of Austria's Strabag with 11%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders, data from the country's central registry of securities showed.
