February 20 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Tankerska Plovidba holds a 64.11% stake in listed peer Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL], following a takeover bid in which it bought 523,534 shares representing a stake of 25.01% of its equity capital, the law firm representing Tankerska in the transaction said on Tuesday.
A total of 1,748 of Atlantska Plovidba shareholders accepted the offer, law firm Mamic, Peric, Reberski, Rimac said in a statement to the Zagreb bourse.

In January, Tankerska Plovidba offered to pay 53.60 euro ($57.91) per Atlantska Plovidba share to minority shareholders, seeking to buy the 60.90% interest that it did not already own back then.
Atlantska Plovidba's equity capital of 83.3 million euro is divided into 2,093,270 shares.
Tankerska Plovidba owns 1,342,097 of the Atlantska Plovidba's shares.
Atlantska Plovidba’s shares traded 1.59% lower at 49.60 euro intraday on Tuesday on the Zagreb bourse.
