October 17 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] said that it has started the process of resuming production at its facilities after planned annual maintenance activities.
The commissioning will be carried out in stages, the company said in a stock exchange filing on Saturday.
Initially, operations will begin at the units for production of nitric acid and ammonium nitrate. At the second stage, Neochim will restart production of ammonia and ammonium bicarbonate within a month.
According to Neochim's latest financial report, the company increased its net profit to 75.6 million levs ($37.7 million/38.6 million euro) in the first half of 2022, from 21.6 million levs a year earlier.
By CEST 1201 on Monday, shares in Neochim traded flat at 39.40 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
