April 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian machinery and equipment construction and installation company Kozloduy plans to invest 5 million levs ($2.7 million/2.6 million euro) in a new metal products and blanks manufacturing base in the coastal city of Burgas, the local government said on Tuesday.
The planned new hall for non-standard metal equipment will make pipelines, pressure vessels, metal blanks, tanks, valves, chain conveyors, as well as non-standard vessels and apparatuses, Burgas municipal government said in a statement.
The facility will be built in Industrial and Logistic Park-Burgas and is expected to create at least 20 jobs.
Kozloduy already operates a production base in the industrial park, in which it has invested some 5 million levs. The plant employs over 100 staff.
Kozloduy specialises in the construction and installation of machines and equipment, pressure vessels, steel structures and pipelines in the energy and petrochemical industries, its website shows. The company mainly exports its products, with clients in France, Italy, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Turkey.
