February 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fertiliser producer Agropolychim said its CEO Philippe Rombaut is stepping down, as Teodor Petsov will take over as head of the company's production operations.
Rombaut will remain chairman of Agropolychim's board of directors and will focus on the company's strategic development, the fertiliser producer said in a press release on Wednesday.
Petsov, with over 22 years of experience in production and a background in management, is joining the company as production director. He will oversee the organisation, control and coordination of the overall production activity at Agropolychim.
Agropolychim is a leading producer of nitrogen, phosphorus, combined and liquid fertilisers in Southeast Europe, employing over 1,000. In the last ten years, the company has invested over 320 million levs ($175.3 million/163.6 million euro) in environment protection, energy efficiency, industrial safety, production, automation, logistics and human resources.
