July 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's industrial producer price index (PPI) edged up by an annual 0.9% in June, after increasing 2.8% in May, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Tuesday.
The rises in industrial prices in May and June were driven by a 7.6% year-on-year increase in prices of utilities in each of the two months, NSI data shows.
On a monthly comparison basis, producer prices fell 1.1% in June, after staying flat in May.
The PPI on the domestic market climbed 2.6% on the year and edged down 0.3% month-on-month in June. The PPI on the non-domestic market decreased 1.5% on the year and was 2.2% lower compared to the value recorded in May.
