PODGORICA (Montenegro), July 5 (SeeNews) – Spanish hotel operator Melia Hotels International has said it plans to open its first hotel in Montenegro as part of its strategy to extend business to new markets.
The hotel will be operated under the Melia Hotels & Resorts brand and is located in Petrovac, in the municipality of Budva, Melia Hotels International said in a statement on Wednesday.
"For Melia, the opening of this hotel is a natural step forward in our growth in markets where our brands have great potential to add value thanks to our success and experience in the resort hotel industry. We are very proud to add this magnificent hotel to our portfolio and continue to bolster our leadership in the Mediterranean," the CEO of the company, Gabriel Escarrer, said.
Melia Budva will provide 114 rooms, swimming pools, sundecks, children's club, various dining options and The Level service, an attribute of the Melia brand which features superior rooms and a range of exclusive services for guests seeking a more premium experience.
