LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), May 9 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's job vacancy rate rose to 2.6% in the first quarter of 2019, 0.1 percentage point higher than in the previous quarter, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
Over 20,400 job vacancies were recorded in Slovenia in January-March, 1,200 more than in the previous quarter, the statistical office said in a press release.
Around 766,500 occupied positions were registered in the first quarter, 4,700 more than in the previous quarter.
The highest job vacancy rate in the first quarter of 2019 was registered in manufacturing, construction and trade.
