March 21 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's consumer confidence indicator remained unchanged on a monthly comparison basis in March, after falling by 1 percentage point (pp) in the preceding month, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
In annual terms, consumer confidence increased by 3 pps in March, the statistical office said in a statement posted on its website.
Consumers’ expectations about both households’ finances and opinions on current households’ finances improved by 1 pp each, while the indicator expectations for major purchases deteriorated by 1 pp, and consumer expectations about the country’s economy remained at the level of the previous month.
Expectations for major purchases grew by 8 pps on an annual level, about households’ finances they expanded by 6 pps, while about the households’ finances, they improved by 5 pps. Only expectations about the country’s economy deteriorated, down 5 pps.
