February 15 (SeeNews) - Slovenia posted the EU's steepest annual decline in industrial output in December, at 10.2%, Eurostat said.
Slovenia also recorded the biggest monthly fall in industrial production in the EU in the review month, at 7.4%, followed by Croatia with 4.3%, the bloc's statistical office said in a monthly report on Wednesday.
In contrast, Bulgaria saw the highest monthly rise in industrial output among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE), for which data is available, at 3.3%, above the average EU increase of 2.6%.
Elsewhere in SEE, Greece's industrial production was the only one to grow year-on-year, by 4.4%. In the EU overall, industrial output climbed by an annual 1.2% in December.
