March 11 (SeeNews) - Serbia's government decided to cancel the requirement for a Covid-19 certificate for visits to indoor spaces as of March 12, as the number of new cases and hospitalised patients is falling and hospitals return to normal, labour minister Darija Kisic Tepavcevic said.
The limits on the number of people gathering in closed premises will be abolished, so all cinemas and theatres will be able to work normally, Kisic Tepavcevic said in a statement on Thursday.
The recommendation for wearing masks indoors and the mandatory seven-day quarantine period will remain.
Serbia made the Covid-19 green certificate mandatory for attending most indoor events and activities in October 2021 and connected to the EU Digital COVID Certificate (EUDCC) system in November 2021.
