December 28 (SeeNews) - Romanian electronics producer Visual Fan [BSE:ALW] said on Thursday that its solar power division has completed the construction of seven photovoltaic (PV) plants with a total capacity of 1.6 MW for local water utility company Apa Serv.
Located in the southern Teleorman county, the solar plants comprise a total 2,957 individual panels of 550 W each, Visual Fan said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Visual Fan's solar power division aims to reach a portfolio of over 100 MW of solar energy projects by the end of 2024, the company said.
Visual Fan specialises in the production of consumer electronics such as smartphones, laptops and smart home devices under the Allview brand. The company also offers solutions for generating green energy, balanced nutrition, and 100% electric vehicles.
In the nine months through September, Visual Fan booked a net profit of 1.32 million lei ($295,650/266,030 euro), and revenue of 48.1 million lei, a financial report filed with the Bucharest bourse in November showed.
Visual Fan shares traded flat at 9.3 lei on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as of 1007 CET on Thursday.
