December 19 (SeeNews) - Romanian marketing group Mediapost Hit Mail has signed a leasing agreement for 19,000 square metres of space, including warehousing and office areas, in Chitila Logistics Hub, a development by Global Vision and Globalworth near Bucharest, Romania, the developers said on Tuesday.
Within the Chitila Logistics Hub, Mediapost Hit Mail will operate logistics and e-commerce services for companies in the retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), energy and services sectors, Globalworth and Global Vision said in a joint press statement.
The transaction, whose value was not disclosed, was facilitated by Colliers, as the agency is a partner in several transactions for the industrial park developed by Global Vision and Globalworth.
Chitila Logistics Hub is located in southern Romania, near the capital Bucharest and has 75,000 sq m of storage and dedicated production spaces. The park has an occupancy rate of nearly 100%, said Sorin Preda, CEO and founder of Global Vision.
Mediapost Hit Mail has been operating in Romania for 26 years and is owned by French mail operator La Poste.
Global Vision was founded 19 years ago. It provides development, design, project management and construction services to investors in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe.
Globalworth is active in Central and Eastern Europe. It acquires, develops, and directly manages offices and industrial real estate assets. In Romania, the company operates in the cities of Bucharest, Timisoara, Constanta, Pitesti, Arad, Oradea and Targu Mures.
