June 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales rose 9.7% year-on-year in April, after growing by 4.6% in March, data from the country's statistical office, INS, showed on Wednesday.
Sales of intermediate goods rose by 9.6% in the year in April, while capital goods sales grew by an annual 10.9%, INS said in a press release.
Sales of durable goods rose by 11.3%, while sales of energy rose by an annual 7.1% in April. Sales non‐durable goods were 8.7% higher in April this year compared to April 2018.
In April, sales of capital goods fell by a monthly 7.6%, sales of durable goods fell by 1.3%, sales of intermediate goods were 6.9% lower and sales ales of energy were down by a monthly 0.6% in April.
Sales of‐durable goods rose by a monthy 2.6% in April.
During January-April, industrial sales were 6.6% higher on the year.
In 2018, Romania's industrial sales rose by an annual 11.8%.
