April 8 (SeeNews) - Romania sold on Thursday 500 million lei ($121 million/102 million euro) worth of Treasury bonds maturing on October 24 2030, in line with target, central bank data showed.
Total bids placed totaled 1.077 billion lei, while the yield was 3.02%, the data indicated.
The issue will be reopened on Friday when the finance ministry hopes to raise 75 million lei in a non-competitive tender.
At the last tender of the same issue held in March, the finance ministry rejected all bids.
Also on Thursday, the finance ministry sold a planned 500 million lei worth of new April 2022 Treasury bills at an average yield of 1.91%.

Romania's finance ministry intends to sell 4.53 billion lei worth of government securities in April, including 525 million lei in non-competitive offers.
So far this year, the finance ministry has sold some 19 billion lei and 1.48 billion euro ($1.76 billion) worth of government bills and bonds.
