LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 12 (SeeNews) – The sale of a majority interest in Slovenian logistics group Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] to state-owned postal services operator Posta Slovenije will be finalised on November 13, 2019 in Ljubljana, Intereuropa said on Tuesday.
The logistics group said in a statement it has been informed by Posta Slovenije that the buyer has met all of the conditions precedent for the finalisation of the transaction.

These conditions include a decision by the Slovenian competition protection agency AVK on the compliance of the transaction with competition rules, and confirmation that the buyer will then publish a takeover bid for the purchase of the remaining shares of Intereuropa.
In May, Intereuropa said that a group of banks - SID Banka, Nova Ljubljanska Banka, Gorenjska Banka, Nova KBM, SKB Banka, and Banka Intesa Sanpaolo - has signed an agreement with Posta Slovenije for the sale of 72.13% of all shares of the logistics group. The price of the deal was not disclosed but according to local media reports at the time, Posta Slovenije will acquire 72% of the share capital of Intereuropa for 105 million euro ($115.8 million).
In September, AVK said it has given the green light to Posta Slovenije to buy Intereuropa.
Intereuropa's shares last traded on Monday on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, changing hands at 1.42 euro, down 2.07%.
