May 20 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 21,245 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 15.4 million dinars ($145,796/130,573 euro). NIS share price stood flat at 725 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.17% higher at 733.41 points.
Agricultural chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 1.24% to 2,950 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.22% to 1,560.97.
The total turnover on the bourse rose to 647.1 million dinars on Monday, from 122.8 million dinars on Friday, as 138 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 430,500 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 616.6 million dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday.
