December 13 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 132 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 96,100 dinars. Aerodrom shares closed up 0.14% at 729 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.08% at 776.28 points.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 1.99% to 2,000 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.06% at 1,696.35.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 2.9 million dinars ($27,600/24,700 euro) on Friday, down from Thursday's 20.9 million dinars, as 62 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 2.6 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday.
In the period between December 9 and 13, BELEX15 grew by 0.17% and BELEXline rose by 0.09%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market in the period between December 9 and 13 was 58.2 million dinars, versus 490.1 million dinars in the previous week.
Treasury bonds with a total value of 6.7 million dinars changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange this week versus 403.9 million dinars last week.
