November 6 (SeeNews) - Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 534 of Metalac's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.1 million dinars. The company and closed down 0.39% at 2,035 dinars.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 7.93% to 735 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.13% to 741.91 points on Tuesday. The index fell 0.24% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.24% to 1,553.80 points on Tuesday, after growing 0.16% on Monday.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price fell 7.03% to 3,002 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 3.7 million dinars ($35,698/31,240 euro) on Tuesday from 3.0 million dinars on Monday, as 213 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 414,278 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 533.8 million dinars to the total turnover of 537.6 million dinars on the stock exchange.
