September 1 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) dropped on Thursday, as Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] paced the blue-chip decliners for a second consecutive session, bourse data showed.
NLB's shares lost 3.55% and closed at 59.80 euro on Thursday, LJSE data showed. NLB's shares declined 2.21% on Wednesday.
Seaport operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] lead the risers, with shares advancing 0.82% to 24.60 euro on Thursday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 1.01% to 1,118.27 points, whereas the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, lost 0.96% to close at 1,397.02 points.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the highest single trading turnover on the bourse on Thursday - of 561,009 euro ($557,672). Its shares closed at 97.8 euro, down 1.21%.
LJSE's total turnover fell to 1.2 million euro on Thursday from 1.8 million euro on Wednesday.
