March 20 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] said on Wednesday it will propose to its shareholders to distribute a dividend of 1.53 euro ($1.66) per share for 2023, up 39.1% compared to the dividend it paid out last year.
The proposed dividend payout is the highest one for the last 11 years, it said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
Overall, the company will distribute to its shareholders 119.3 million euro out of its net profit reported for 2023 and will retain the remaining 5.8 million euro.
The shareholders will vote on the proposal on May 8. Dividend payment date is May 20, record date is May 13 and ex-dividend date is May 10.
Shares of Hrvatski Telekom traded 2.36% higher at 30.40 euro on Wednesday morning in Zagreb.
Hrvatski Telekom is 53.5% owned by Deutsche Telekom Europe B.V.
