January 31 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Wednesday hit fresh record highs supported by gains in Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT], and Adris [ZSE:ADRS2], bourse data showed.
The benchmark CROBEX, which consist of 20 shares, advanced 0.64% to reach 2,665.94 points, its highest level in at least five years.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, tracking the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, gained 0.91% to its all-time high, 1,608.08 points.
Hrvatski Telekom generated the biggest daily turnover of 350,000 euro ($380,000), as its shares soared 1.82% to 27.90 euro.
Shares of Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA] added 0.29% to 17.30 euro in a turnover of 195,200 euro. ZABA is a constituent of the wider index.
Blue-chip preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris appreciated 1.02% to 59.20 euro in a turnover of 83,000 euro.
The total on-exchange turnover rose to 1.3 million euro from 1.1 million euro on Tuesday.
