September 13 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania edged up 1.7% year-on-year in the first seven months of 2018, to 2.314 billion euro ($2.688 billion), the central bank said on Thursday.
Equity investment (including estimated net reinvestment of earnings) amounted to 2.179 billion euro and inter-company lending totalled a net value of 135 million euro at the end of July, the central bank said in a statement, citing provisional data.
FDI into Romania increased by 1.5% in 2017 to an estimated 4.586 billion euro.
