March 26 (SeeNews) - Croatian ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] said on Tuesday it signed several contracts worth almost 5.0 million euro ($5.4 million) in total for modernisation and maintenance of communication networks and the digital transformation of society.
The company signed a deal with Bosnia's Hrvatske Telekomunikacije Mostar [SAJ:HTKMR] for the modernisation and further expansion of the telco's package core network, Ericsson Nikola Tesla said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
Several projects for the modernization and maintenance of the core network were contracted with Kosovo telecommunications services provider IPKO, including delivery of improved voice service on the LTE/4G network and deployment of The Mobile Number Portability functionality.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla also concluded several contracts for the digital transformation of the sectors of healthcare, land administration, public administration and security, business communications, and transport in Croatia.
The value of the individual contracts was not disclosed.
Shares of Ericsson Nikola Tesla traded 0.47% higher at 216 euro by 1329 local time on Tuesday.
