February 6 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] said on Tuesday it holds 50,615 of its own shares representing 0.064891% of the company's issued equity capital, after it bought back 4,327 shares last week.
Hrvatski Telekom repurchased the shares on Friday, as part of a programme to buy own shares announced in April 2021, the company said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
It has said earlier that it plans to buy back up to three million of its own shares by 2026 under the programme that aims to withdraw stocks that have no nominal value without reducing the share capital.
It also said back then it will offer some of the repurchased shares to its employees.
The telco's shares traded flat at 27.80 euro ($29.86) on Monday afternoon on the ZSE.
