April 9 (SeeNews) - Croatian fund manager Global Invest which runs closed-end investment fund Breza [ZSE:BRIN], said on Tuesday it will propose to the shareholders of Breza to distribute a dividend of 0.50 euro ($0.54) per share.
A total of 253,000 euro out of the investment fund’s retained profit for 2018 will be distributed as dividend, Global Invest said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
Global Invest will also propose to fully cover Breza’s net loss of 32,200 euro reported for 2023 with retained profit. It did not elaborate
The shareholders will vote on the proposals on May 22. Ex-dividend date is May 29, record date is May 31 and payment date is June 14.
Last year, Breza distributed a dividend of 0.45 euro per share, or overall 227,700 euro, out of its retained profits for 2017 and 2018.
Breza's shares traded 3.33% lower at 11.60 euro on Tuesday afternoon, when the Zagreb bourse put them into its segment for monitoring after the proposal for dividend distribution was announced.
