April 16 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) declined on Tuesday, when the regular turnover fell to 1.4 million euro ($1.5 million) from 1.9 million euro a day earlier, bourse data showed.
The 21-share benchmark CROBEX dropped 0.65% to close at 2,813.06 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, dipped 0.15% to end at at 1,701.40 points.
Blue-chip hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] was the most traded company with a turnover of 264,000 euro. Its shares lost 0.38% to 5.18 euro.
Insurer Adriatic Osiguranje [ZSE:JDOS] followed with a turnover of 138,200 euro. Its shares shed 3.77% to 460 euro. They are not part of the main Croatian indices.
Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA] was the biggest daily decliner. Its shares plunged 5.43% to 17.40 euro in a turnover of 121,100 euro. They are constituent of the wider index, the CROBEX.
On Wednesday the bourse will be closed due to Croatia's parliamentary elections. The next trading day on the Zagreb bourse is Thursday, April 18.
