September 13 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at Croatia's airports increased to 1.768 million in July, up from 887,000 in the same month last year, official statistics showed on Tuesday.
The total number of landings and take-offs at Croatian airports rose 26.8% on the year, reaching 18,254 in July, while cargo volumes increased by 16.8% on the year to 905 tonnes, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Split airport served the largest number of passengers in July – 639,000 up by an annual 83% - followed by the airport in Dubrovnik with 425,000 passengers and Zagreb airport with 327,000 passengers.
