LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 21 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip SBITOP index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell 0.39% to 863.13 points on Wednesday, hit by a 1.02% drop in the share price of chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJSE:CICG].
Hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJSE:UKIG] was also one of major blue-chip losers on Wednesday, falling by 0.67%.
Logistics group Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies. The company’s shares closed at 2.58 euro, up 4.03%.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover grew to 830,620 euro ($920,952) on Wednesday from 541,900 euro on Tuesday.
Trade in drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] shares formed the largest portion of trading turnover on Wednesday, of 336,110 euro.
