February 21 (SeeNews) - Czech online used-car dealer Carvago has launched its platform in Kosovo, signaling ambitions for further expansion in the Western Balkans.
Carvago, which teamed up with Kosovo-based technology company Gjirafa, said in a press release on Wednesday that Kosovo is its eighth market and the first outside the EU.
Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia are three of the markets Carvago can potentially enter, Mergim Cahani, founder of Gjirafa, was cited as saying in the press release.
The Carvago platform, which will operate under the Carvago by Gjirafa brand in Kosovo, enables users to purchase vehicles online, offering a 14-day return policy, along with a guarantee on the technical condition of the vehicles.
Kosovo customers now have access to benefits similar to those enjoyed by Carvago's EU clients, such as insurance choices, flexible financing options, and a diverse selection of over one million cars from across Europe, Carvago noted.
Founded in Prague in 2018, Carvago has operations in Germany, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Italy and Romania, according to its website.
