February 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Power Distribution South, part of Austrian energy group EVN, said on Monday that it awarded a 2.6 million levs ($1.6 million/1.3 million euro) contract for the delivery of new truck-mounted cranes to local company Preos.
The deal also envisages the maintenance of the respective equipment within a three-year period, Power Distribution South said in a notice published on the website of the public procurement agency.
The deal was signed on November 30 but announced only now.
The public procurement procedure for awarding the contract attracted offers from four candidates. The bids were ranked solely based on price.
Sofia-based Preos is specialised in the delivery of lifting equipment and hydraulic systems, according to information published on its website.
