April 4 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's government said it is terminating a concession contract for a section of the Cherepish limestone deposit in the northwestern region of Vratsa with local building materials producer Varhim due to the concessionaire's failure to meet its financial obligations.
The concession for the Dalboki Dol section of the deposit will be unilaterally terminated as Varhim has not paid concession fees, interest and penalties due under the contract for over three months, the government said in a statement following its weekly meeting on Wednesday.
The concession deal for the Dalboki Dol section of the Cherepish deposit, located in the Mezdra municipality, was signed in November 2004.
