March 6 (SeeNews) - Bosnian insurer Triglav Osiguranje Sarajevo [SAJ:BHOSR], part of Slovenia's Triglav Group, said its net profit rose 7.1% year-on-year in 2023, to 2.8 million marka ($1.6 million/1.4 million euro).
Gross written premiums increased 6.9% on the year to 74.6 million marka, while operating costs rose 5.9% to 23.3 million marka in 2023, the company said in a financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange earlier this week.
The company's total assets amounted to 183.8 million marka at the end of 2023, compared to 163.9 million marka at end of 2022.
Triglav Osiguranje Sarajevo's shares have not traded on the SASE in the past year.
In September 2023, Triglav Osiguranje Sarajevo absorbed Triglav's other unit in Bosnia, Triglav Osiguranje Banja Luka.
Triglav Group is an international corporation founded in Slovenia. The company also operates in Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
