February 7 (SeeNews) - Bosnian lender Privredna Banka Sarajevo [SASE:BORB] plans to increase its capital via a new share issue, it said on Friday.
The proposal will be put to the vote at a shareholders meeting to be held on February 28, Privredna Banka Sarajevo (PBS) said in a filing to the Sarajevo bourse without providing further details.
PBS' capital is divided into 336,738 shares of 110 marka ($62/56 euro) in nominal value each.
The largest shareholders of the bank are two local individuals, Halil Okovic and Hamid Prses, with 9.99% each, followed by Gorazde-based detonators manufacturer Pobjeda-Rudet with 9.97% and Sarajevo-based ASA Finance with 9.38%, bourse data showed on February 7.
In 2016, PBS merged into local peer BOR Banka. All rights and obligations held by PBS were transferred to BOR Banka as the legal successor of PBS. Following the merger, BOR Banka changed its name to Privredna Banka Sarajevo.
PBS shares last traded on the Sarajevo bourse on December 4, 2019, closing 2.03% higher at 109.68 marka.
