March 15 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's NLB Banka Sarajevo [SAJ:TZLBRK2], owned by Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), said on Friday that its net profit rose 30.8% year-on-year to 26.1 million marka ($14.5 million/13.3 million euro) in 2023.
Net interest income rose 33.9% year-on-year to 51.1 million marka in 2023, while net fee and commission income increased 4.7% to 24.6 million marka, the bank said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
The bank's shares last traded on the Sarajevo bourse on April 13, when they closed flat at 438.75 marka.
NLB Banka is based in Sarajevo, in the Federation entity.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is made up of two autonomous entities - the Federation and the Serb Republic. NLB has another subsidiary in Bosnia, NLB Razvojna Banka, which is based in the Serb Republic.
