February 21 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.69% lower at 902.42 points on Wednesday, dragged down by aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL: IMPL] and industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS], bourse data showed.
Impol closed 4.11% lower at 5,200 dinars as 20 shares changed hands.
A total of 318 Messer shares changed hands, generating the day's largest turnover of 6.5 million dinars. Messer closed 2.40% lower at 20,497 dinars.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] was the only blue-chip gainer on Wednesday, adding 1.39% to 1,825 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also fell, by 0.57% to 1,973.63 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse plummeted to 17 million dinars ($156,900/145,200 euro) on Wednesday from 26.7 million dinars last Tuesday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 1.1 million dinars of Wednesday's turnover.
