April 15 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.94% lower at 1,000.46 points on Monday, ending a nine-day winning streak, with insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] pacing the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Dunav closed 2.91% lower at 1,000 in a volume of fifteen shares.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] was the only blue-chip gainer on Monday, adding 1.05% to 1,738 dinars
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the day's largest turnover. A total of 552 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 476,283 dinars. NIS closed 0.81% lower at 862 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also fell, closing 1.05% lower at 2,153.93 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse plummeted to 3.8 million dinars ($34,500 million/32,400 euro) on Monday from 360.2 million dinars on Friday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 2.1 million dinars of Monday's turnover.
