April 11 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.03% higher at 1,003.12 points on Thursday, supported by gains in Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] and cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC], bourse data showed.
Aerodrom closed 4.28% higher at 1,899 dinars in a volume of 2,669 shares. Metalac added 3.37% to 1,750 dinars.
At the other end, oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners, shedding 3.58% to 862 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.35% higher at 2,170.90.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse fell to 26.3 million dinars ($241,100/224,500 euro) on Thursday from 94.8 million dinars on Wednesday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 8.6 million dinars of Thursday's turnover.
