March 29 (SeeNews) - The municipality of the Albanian capital Tirana said it has signed a 106 million leks ($1.1 million/1 million euro) contract with local diverse service provider Dajti Park 2007 for a redevelopment project in the city's southwest.
The contract envisages the demolition, dismantling, and relocation of electric lines, road excavation, filling, base and asphalt layer works, and road lighting and signage improvement, during a ten-month period, the municipality said in a signed contract notice on Friday.
The project will be carried out in one of Tirana's informal areas - neighbourhoods of illegally built homes without proper infrastructure which emerged in the 1990s.
Dajti Park 2007 was established in 1999. Besides civil construction projects, the company also engages in food service and hospitality, at its Dajti Park Resort in Tirana’s mountain of Dajt.
