March 28 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic attracted 18,717 foreign tourists in February, up 1.8% compared to the same month of 2023, the entity's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 60,687 overnights in the Serb Republic last month, which represents an annual increase of 0.1%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a monthly statement on Wednesday.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in February came from Serbia (6,975, down 2.3% year-on-year), followed by tourists from Croatia (4,773, up 8.5%), and 2,299 tourists from Slovenia (up 11.9%).
The total number of tourists in the entity fell 1.2% on the year to 31,664 in February. The overall number of overnights dipped 0.3% to 88,858.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
