The industry's total revenue makes up 10.41% to the country's Gross domestic product (GDP) in 2017, compared to 10.48% for 2016 and 10.43% in 2015.
A total of 53,194 people were employed in the Crop and animal production, hunting and related service activities industry in 2017, compared to 55,679 in 2016 and 58,274 in 2015.
Most of the companies in the industry are based in Sofia, followed by Dobrich and Varna.
