LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 13 (SeeNews) – The main share index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) rose on Friday, backed by gains of Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] and Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG], bourse data showed.
The benchmark SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 856.02 points, up 0.52%.
Zavarovalnica Triglav and Telekom Slovenije lead the blue-chip gainers on the LJSE, data showed. Zavarovalnica Triglav closed 1.29% higher at 31.4 euro and Telekom Slovenije’s shares added 0.95% to 63.8 euro.
There were no losers among the Slovenian blue-chip companies on Friday.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover fell to 713,570 euro ($787,122) from 1.57 million euro on Thursday, as trade in pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the bulk – 578,400 euro.
