May 27 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose for a third straight session on Wednesday, with shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] pacing the blue-chip winners, bourse data showed.
Atlantska's shares gained 2.11% to close at 193.50 kuna.
At the other end, the manufacturer of products for the automotive industry AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL-R-A] led the blue-chip losers by shedding 1.37% to 144.50 kuna at close.
Seven of the ten blue chips on the ZSE closed the trading day higher, two fell and one ended flat.
Telecommunications services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] contributed the largest single portion of turnover among the blue chips on Wednesday - of 803,000 kuna, as its shares closed 1.01% higher at 5.98 kuna.
The ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 8.2 million kuna ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) on Wednesday from 13.7 million kuna on Tuesday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose 0.56% to 1,620.73 on Wednesday, after gaining 2.23% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, was up 0.64% to 1,006.53, after adding 2.17% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS closed at 110.5600, down 0.01%.
