May 7 (SeeNews) - The Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) said its Index Committee has concluded an extraordinary revision of the Prime Market index, the CROBEXprime.
The extraordinary revision was needed because the shares of tourism company Valamar Riviera's [ZSE:RIVP] had to be included in the composition of the index within three weeks after their listing on the Prime Market on April 29, the ZSE said in a statement on Monday.
The calculation of the revised CROBEXprime index, which comprises all shares listed on the Prime Market, will start on May 14.
Thus far, shares of plastic goods manufacturer AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL], Arena Hospitality Group [ZSE:ARNT], Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR], food, beverage and drug producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] and Valamar Riviera are listed on the Prime Market.
The ZSE introduced the CROBEXprime earlier this year. The aim of the free float market capitalisation weighted total return index taking dividends into account is to make trade in equities more transparent.
