February 2 (SeeNews) - The main equity index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange continued its winning streak, for a sixth day in a row, backed by gains in Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA], bourse data showed on Friday.
The CROBEX benchmark added 0.05% to end at 2,671.65 points, its highest level in at least five years.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, tracking the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.11% to close at 1,602.86 points, after reaching its all-time high on Wednesday.
Blue-chip shares Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] was the most traded company with a turnover of 318,000 euro ($343,000) as its shares fell 0.72% to 27.60 euro.
Shares of Zagrebacka Banka rose 0.87% to 17.40 euro in a turnover of 256,300 euro. It is part of the wider index.
The regular turnover went up to 975,000 euro from 910,000 euro on Thursday. Besides, there was a 2.3 million euro overall block trading in three deals, including 1.1 million euro with shares of electrical concern Koncar [ZSE:KOEI], 880,000 euro with shares of consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR], and 318,700 euro with shares of Hrvatski Telekom.
