December 6 (SeeNews) - Dubai-based World Free Zones Organization (World FZO) plans to open a regional representative office in Serbia's capital Belgrade, the Serbian government said.
World FZO plans to open a regional office in Serbia, as it sees great potential in the development of free zones in Serbia, representatives of the organisation said on Thursday during a meeting with Serbian finance minister Sinisa Mali, according to a statement by Serbia's government.
World FZO intends to support Serbian free zones in cooperation with the country's finance ministry, Mohammed Al Zarooni, Chairman of the World FZO, said in a video file posted on the website of news agency Tanjug on Thursday.
Established in Switzerland and headquartered in the Dubai Airport Free Zone in United Arab Emirates (UAE), the World FZO is a non-profit entity operating as an association for all free zones around the world and their communities.
