TIRANA (Albania), June 5 (SeeNews) – The World Bank has slightly lowered its projection for Albania’s economic growth in 2019, to 3.7% from 3.8% projected in April, figures showed.
The forecast for Albania’s economic growth in 2020 was increased to 3.7% from 3.6% predicted in April, according to the World Bank's June 2019 Global Economic Prospects report on Europe and Central Asia published on Tuesday.
The World Bank forecasts Albania's economic growth at 3.8% in 2021.
Deceleration in public and private investment will slow economic growth in Albania in the 2019-2021 period, compared to an estimated rise of 4.1% in gross domestic product in 2018, the bank noted.
