October 29 (SeeNews) - The Romanian unit of Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said on Thursday it launched flights from Bucharest to Stockholm in Sweden on October 26 and to Pescara in Italy on October 29.
The airline will operate the Bucharest-Stockholm route twice a week, on Thursdays and on Sundays, it said in a statement.
The Bucharest-Pescara route will also be serviced twice a week, on Mondays and on Fridays.
Wizz Air flies to about 100 destinations from 8 airports in Romania. It carried some 3.9 million passengers to and from Romania in 2014, 19.9% up on the year.
