May 31 (SeeNews) - Volvo Group Bulgaria, part of Sweden's Volvo Trucks, said on Friday that it has opened a new service centre in Plovdiv following an investment of 3.8 million levs ($2.2 million/1.9 million euro).
The investment is part of Volvo Group Bulgaria's overall strategy for sustainable growth, modernisation and expansion of the capacity of the company's service network in the country, Volvo Group Bulgaria said in a statement.

The facility in Plovdiv has the capacity to service nearly 5,000 vehicles per year.
Volvo Group Bulgaria invested over 12 million levs in the past three years, opening service centres in Varna, Burgas, and Veliko Tarnovo, and expanding the capacity of its centre in Sofia.
